CAST began as a software integration facility in 1980 and quickly evolved into performing analysis, design, and development of integrated navigation test systems. Our roots in the navigation industry have led us to developing world-class, leading-edge simulation systems for testing loosely and tightly coupled GNSS/INS systems.

We developed a software simulator (NAVSIM) for use in the design and test of GPS-based integrated navigation systems. NAVSIM is a high fidelity Monte Carlo simulation that models a wide range of avionic sensors, a variety of vehicles and scenarios, and numerous navigation and Kalman filter processing algorithms.

Currently our simulators are supporting navigation system research, development, integration and testing at commercial and military laboratories worldwide. We continue to develop cutting-edge simulation systems by incorporating next generation GNSS technologies.

The experience that CAST has accrued in the design, development and testing of integrated navigation systems is a valuable asset for any laboratory integrating GNSS applications.
